Professional Woodwork Treatment in Kettering
Woodworm are a type of wood-boring beetle. The larvae from the beetles burrow their way into wood, which leaves tunnel-like marks which are entrances and exits into the wood itself. An infestation can be extremely harmful to items in your home such as furniture, skirting boards and any other wooden fixtures and fittings in your home that have been left untreated.

If your property has been infested, it can be a worrying time for homeowners. The Wood Beetle
The lifecycle of the beetle goes through four separate stages. Initially, an adult woodworm will lay its eggs on top of damp wood. Soon afterwards, the eggs will hatch and the newly hatched larva will start to tunnel and feed upon the timber. After 4 years of being in the wood, the larva will then surface from the wood, turn into pupa, from which an adult beetle will emerge.
The Treatment Process
If woodwork has been significantly affected by the burrowing of woodworm larva, then it’s probably best to replace it. One of our woodworm experts will inject a specially prepared solution into anything in your property which is timber-based. Our woodworm treatment will ensure that woodwork is free from woodworm, and they will be repelled for several years to come.
