ABOUT CATLIN RISING DAMP AND TIMBER TREATMENTS.

Catlin Rising Damp and Timber Treatments is a family run company that has been trading since 1972, initially carrying out remedial works for larger companies and from late 1973 as independent preservation specialists.

We are proud of our tradition in serving the needs of the general public in Northamptonshire and the surrounding counties, but we are also pleased to have be entrusted with work in the preservation of many prestigious properties in the area such as churches, listed buildings and stately homes.

Our work has provided us with the challenge of preventing damp, wood-worm and decay in buildings built of stone, brick, below ground, constructed of timber frame (wattle and daub), even buildings built entirely of mud (a little known feature of some of Northamptonshire’s oldest buildings).

We are confident that we can offer the highest standard of service and workmanship.
